A fantastic experience
In May 1983, I had a fantastic experience. At that time I was bothered with low blood circulation in my feet, I was freezing and slept bad at night, because I was on medication. I had stressed a lot and was discharged from psychiatric just some weeks earlier.

Then some friends of mine arranged a ralley of meetings at the Salvation Army. The preacher in the meetings was named Didrik Solli. He was 75 years old and almost blind.  I went to two of the meetings, and in the last of them I sat on the back row.

Didrik spoke about the woman in Luke chapter 7; verses 36-40 who annointed Jesus` feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.  Jesus said: "Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven - for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

This has been my favourite passage in the Bible since then, and I painted this situation in 2000 as you can see on the left.

A lot of young people came forward to be prayed for. I remained seated, because I didn`t feel that I fit in under any of the categories that was called for.  But afterwards, Didrik Said:  "You are a brother in here who have been witnessing about Jesus for a few years. You have stressed a lot, and now you are all exhausted. What is obstructing you brother ? Come forward and let me pray for you !"

I knew then that he was talking to me, and I went forward and leaned my hands on the pulpit . Solli laid his hands on my head and I don`t quite remember what he said, but while he prayed, I felt an intense and comfortable, glowing power that went through me and filled me from top to toe, and a heavenly, clean fragrance !

Afterwards, Didrik said: "Now you can just go and sit down."  And as I went, it was like walking on air pillows ! I was charged like a new battery ! I had never felt so safe and releaved and happy before !

The carpenter from Nazareth had kept his promise: He gave me
the power of The Holy Spirit.  However I had learned a lesson: Listening and praying is more important than being busy with
a lot of things.
"Your faith has saved you.
Go in peace".
"Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have !" ( Luke 24; 39 )
